Volunteer
Beechmont Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Hispanic Latino Ministries of Preston Highway have made a commitment to walk alongside a group of Honduran, Cuban, Ecuadorian, Sudanese, South Sudanese, Venezuelan, Puerto Rican and Mexican families as they overcome language and cultural barriers to navigate life in Louisville. We offer an after-school program that provides academic support, English language practice, enrichment activities and recreation for over thirty children. We also provide supportive case management services for families. Please prayerfully consider how you might help support us in this ministry. Thank you!
The Learning Hub has a great need for volunteers. And we are so grateful for everyone who lends their support: helping our kids read, playing games, teaching life skills like baking and sewing, engaging our kids in art projects, driving kids to and from the program, chaperoning events, providing snacks and other donations, grant-writing and networking.
Volunteers who can serve between 3:00 to 7:00 PM to help with enrichment activities (games, music, arts & crafts, etc.) reading and homework, or just be a positive presence in these kids' lives!
